Meet Us

In 1975, Wayne Davies started our company where all successful business start–in the basement. While his sons, Wynn and Wade, later bought the business and grew it into a full-service remodeling contractor, the driving force behind the company’s success was always handyman jobs, fixing what could never be fixed, and installing the most complicated home units. Now, we have officially added professional handyman services to our company.
You might say we’ve come full circle.

Wade Davies, Owner and Certified Lead Carpenter
Wade started working for W.E. Davies when he was eleven years old. You might say that carpentry and remodeling are in our blood. Upon his high school graduation, he considered joining the military but instead chose to help his father, Wayne, whose budding business was overwhelmed with work.
His hobbies include duck hunting, ice fishing, and sporting clay shooting. He has been happily married for twenty-nine years and is the proud father of three adult children. Wade’s dream career is to own a metal working shop.

Wynn Davies, Owner and Certified Remodeler
Wynn grew up helping with the family business and officially joined at age 27 when his dad, Wayne, hurt his shoulder and was unable to do any heavy-lifting. Wynn made the family business his career and is proud of what they have become.
Wynn is the father of two adult sons, and husband to Julie for 24 years (and counting!).
If he ever had the opportunity to chase his other passion full force, he would become a professional tri-athlete. Along with that, he enjoy just about any outdoor activity—hunting, fishing, biking, running, and swimming.

Matt Greunke, Certified Lead Carpenter
Matt has been a skilled carpenter for the past 10 years. He recently earned his Certified Lead Carpenter status through NARI of Madison. He is known for his extreme attention to detail and project management skills. Matt is a Madison native and enjoys deer hunting and land management in his spare time. He lives near Madison with his wife, Katie, and their German Shepherd, Diesel.

Johnny Bacon and Ian Smith, carpenters
Johnny is a native of Madison and a U.S. Army veteran. Ian is also from Madison and is a former bike mechanic. Both Johnny and Ian are growing their skill sets and providing support to our certified lead carpenters.

Sheryl Kim, Office Manager
Sheryl assists Wynn (co-owner) in the office and handles much of the customer-facing interactions. She lives in Madison with her husband, Alan, and three children.
